🥩🧄 Steak and Cheese Garlic Toast
A quick, hearty, and cheesy meal perfect for lunch or dinner!
Ingredients:
• 1 tablespoon olive oil
• 1/3 cup sliced white onion
• 8 to 10 slices of green bell pepper
• 1 clove garlic, minced
• 1/2 cup sliced steak (leftover or freshly cooked)
• 4 slices provolone cheese
• Kraft Mayo with Olive Oil and Cracked Black Pepper (for spreading)
• 2 slices of French bread or Texas toast
• Butter (for toasting)
• 1/3 cup sliced mushrooms (optional)

Instructions:
1. Prep the Ingredients:
Slice the onions, bell pepper, garlic, mushrooms (if using), and steak.
2. Sauté the Veggies:
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the onions and bell pepper, and cook until they soften.
Add the garlic and mushrooms (if using), and cook until everything is tender.
3. Add the Steak:
Stir in the sliced steak and cook until it’s heated through.
4. Prepare the Bread:
Butter one side of each slice of bread. On the other side, spread the mayo.
5. Assemble the Sandwich:
Place one slice of provolone cheese on the mayo side of one slice of bread.
Add the steak and veggie mixture, then another slice of provolone.
Close the sandwich with the second slice of bread (mayo side down).
6. Grill the Sandwich:
In a skillet over medium heat, grill the sandwich on both sides until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
7. Serve:
Cut in half and enjoy while warm!
