It’s difficile to believe how quick and easy this delicious shrimp fettuccine can be made. Noodles are one of my favorite quick things to do when I’m tired and don’t want to spend a lot of time cooking. It is not only tasty, but also cooked quickly and without much effort.
The same can be said about shrimp, especially when they are already peeled. Shrimp cooks in minutes, and when you combine shrimp and pasta with butter and garlic, you’ve got a delicious, mouthwatering meal within minutes!
**Why this recipe works
Very tasty: minced garlic sautéed in melted butter with a little olive oil. Add a small pinch of red pepper flakes for a mild heat, but can be omitted if desired. Simple ingredients pack a lot of flavour!
Ingredients
°2 ounces dry fettuccine (about 1 cup cooked)
°1 tablespoon salted butter
°1 clove garlic , minced
°⅛ teaspoon red chili pepper flake (use less if you don’t want the shrimp to be too spicy)
°6-8 shrimp , peeled and deveined (4-ounces)
°⅛ tsp kosher salt
°1 ½ tsp olive oil , divided
°shredded Parmesan cheese
*How to make:
Fill  saucepan with water and bring to a boil on medium-high heat.Adding fettuccine to the boiling water & cooking to the pasta is tender, for 8 minutes. Drain in a sieve and transfer the pasta into a bowl. Stir in ½ tablespoon of the olive oil so the fettuccine noodles don’t stick, and set aside.
Heat olive oil also butter in a 10-inch skillet on medium heat. When butter has melted, adding minced garlic also chili flakes (red pepper flakes) and cook, stirring occasionally, for 30 sec.
Enjoy !
